To tune in a station with a weak
signal
Press TUNING MODE repeatedly until
"MANUAL" appears in step 2, then press
TUNING +/ - to tune in the station and
continue from step 4.
To change the preset number
Start again from step 1.
To change the AM/MW tuning
interval (except for European
model)
The AM/MW tuning interval is factory-set to
9 kHz (10 kHz in some areas). To change the
AM/MW tuning interval, tune in any AM/
MW station first, then turn off the power.
While holding down the FUNCTION button,
turn the power back on. When you change
the interval, all the AM / MW preset stations
are erased. To reset the interval, repeat the
same procedure.
Tips
• Hit' preset stations are retained tor a da\ e\ en it
\’OU diseoniieel the mains lead or it a pouer tailnre
occurs.
• You can create titles tor the preset stations (see
page 4.S).
• 1 o impror e broadcast reception, reorient the
supplied aerials or connect the tiptionai externa!
aerial.
• When an FM programme has static noise,
press STEREO/ MONO until "MONO" appears.
There will be no stereo ettect, but the reception
will improve. Press the button again to restore the
stereo ettect.
