2． TOMEI METAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER INSTALLATION

【INSTALLATION PROCEDURE】
1. Fit the O2 sensors that was removed from the stock catalytic converters and
make sure not to mix the sensors up and connect the right sensor to the right position.
* Torque settings Rear O2 Sensor (Image ⑪) [40~50N *m (4.1~5.1kgf-m)]
【REFERENCE】
If you don't install the A/F Sensors to the Metal Cat then you can use the blind bolts with the
supplied washers to plug up the holes. The boss is designed to suit the stock O2 Sensors
(illustration⑥& ⑦) Boss thread size is M18-P = 1.5
2. Use the gaskets that are supplied in the kit when installing this product.
【EXHAUST MANIFOLD SIDE】
* install the Gasket A that is included , point ① in illustration
Torque Specs for the suplied Nuts (point ③) [34.3~39.2N*m(3.5~4.0kgf-m)]
for standard Nuts (Point⑧) [60~66N*m(6.1~6.7kgf-m)]
(With other manifolds then please use their specified torque specs)
If you are using the exhaust manifolds that use the stud bolt setup and those bolts had been
removed then reinstall them with the following torque specs [23.5 ~ 27.4N • m (2.4 ~ 2.7kgf-m)]
【EXHAUST FRONT TUBE SIDE】
* fit Gasket B that is included B, image ⑧ in illustration
Torque Specs for the nuts supplied in this kit (point ③) [34.3~39.2N*m(3.5~4.0kgf-m)]
(With other front tubes then please use their specifed torque specs)

④ Cap Bolt
⑤ Spring Plate M10
⑥ Copper Washer * For A/F Gauge if installed.
⑦ Blind Bolt * For
A/F Gauge if installed.
⑧ Gasket B (Metal Cat- -Front Tube Side)
* Apply bolt smooth paste to prevent metal burns and seizures on the bolts.
⑨ When Removing [23.5 ～ 27.4N ・ m
(2.4～2.7kgf-m) ]
⑩ [60～66N ・m (6.1～6.7kgf-m) ]
⑪ [40～50N ・m(4.1～5.1kgf-m)]
