1. Removal of Genuine catalyst converter
The following descriptions are simple procedures to remove the factory catalyst converter.
Refer to the servicing instruction for a detailed description on each part.
1. Remove negative battery terminal.
※ Be sure to label the left and right O2 sensors 2. Remove Rear oxygen sensor.
3. Remove the bracket between the catalyst convertor and transmissions.
4. Remove the catalyst converter.

Flange bolt ［23.5-27.4N・m(2.4∼2.7kgf-m] ②
Flange nut 34.3-39.2N・m(3.5-4.0kgf-m) ［60-66N・m(6.1∼6.7kgf-m)] ③ ⑧
Copper washer ［40-50N・m(4.1∼5.1kgf-m)] ④ ※Use when A/F meter etc. are not installed ⑨

⑤ Blind bolt
(between straight front pipe and exhaust front tubes) ⑥ Gasket B
※Please spread smoothing paste on to all bolts toprevent burning
