3. BAFFLE PLATE INSTALLATION BASE MODIFICATIONS

The base is installed by welding it to the oil pan.
Screw holes are made with a M6 tap, to the oil pan
or supporting bracket mount (if available), and then
the baffle is securely bolted in position.
4. CAUTION WHEN TIGHTENING THE BOLTS.
Use the supplied M6 bolts when installing the baffle
with bolts. Use thread lock paste on the threaded
portion during installation. This will prevent the bolts
from freeing themselves from the engine vibrations etc.

5. ADDITIONAL NOTES
Refer to the vehicles original workshop service manual in regards to work relating to the removal and
installation of the oil pan (sump).
CAUTION
Check that there is always the right amount of oil in the engine and if there are any signs of oil
leakages. When there is insufficient oil in the engine, the engine will be damaged.
