INSTALLATION NOTES
1. BAFFLE PLATE MODIFICATIONS The baffle plate is installed around the oil pickup.
The box shape is then either welded or
riveted together to secure it in place.
CAUTION
Construct the baffle plate to match the shape of
your oil pan (sump).
Cut the baffle plate to suit the oil pans shape, so
it will fit flush without gaps. Be sure to clean all
edges and remove unwanted metal filings so as
not to damage the engine.
Then verify the clearances.
2. RUBBER VALVES INSTALLATION
Install in a box shape design, with the rubber
valves fitted on the completed oil pan baffle plate.
Brackets
Cut the lower portion of the baffle plate,
like the shaded area, to match the shape
of the oil pan.
The baffle plate will not be completely
effective if there are any unwanted gaps.

Fit the rubber valves in the correct side to assist
with the correct oil flow direction.
※ Fit the Rubber Valves on the inside of the box,
this will allow the oil to flow one way, into the
where the oil strainer is. It is imperative that
these valves are positioned on the correct side.
※ Be careful during the installation of the rubber
valves, excessive force and mishandling can result
in damaging the rubber valves.
Use silicon grease during installation to help prevent
damages to the rubber valves.
CAUTION
The rubber valve is designed to move softly, so it will be easy to open and close like a flap,
to effectively control oil flow into the baffle box.
Use silicon grease with the right pincer tools during installation on the baffle plate.
