8. If any of the wells are empty and you want to re-cut those spots, click on "Specify re-
cuts." Then follow these on-screen instructions:

9. Remove the microtiter plate and put it back in the microtiter plate holder area of the spot
cutter.
10. Remove the plastic sheet from the top of the gel.
11. Do not move the gel. The image and matching that was already done still applies to the
gel as long as it does not move.
12. The image of the microtiter plate will remain on the screen in front of the Integrated
Excision Tool screen.

13. The Zoom and Transform icons can be used to enhance the microtiter plate image.
14. Use the scroll bar on the right side of the table to move to the appropriate microtiter plate
well number, located on the left side of the table.
15. Mark the well numbers in the cut list by clicking on the box next to the microtiter plate well
number.
