Setting up local time offset
If your position and time data are being updated through a GPS
receiver, you can enter the time difference between UTC and local
time. Then the local time will be displayed on the screen.
1.
Select MENU
→ GPS/DATA → SETTING → TIME OFFSET
2.
Enter the difference between UTC and local time.
You can set in quarter-hour increments up to a maximum offset of
±13 hours.

Note:
When local time is being displayed, LOC is displayed after the
time on the standby screen.
Time format options
Time can be shown in 12 or 24 hour format.
1.
Select MENU
→ GPS/DATA → SETTING → TIME FORMAT.
2.
Select 12- or 24-hour as required.

Note:
When the 12-hour format has been selected, the time is
displayed with an AM or PM suffix.
Time display options
You can toggle on or off the time display on the handset screens.
1.
Select MENU
→ GPS/DATA → SETTING → TIME DISPLY.
2.
Select ON or OFF as required.
