Sending an all ships call
1.
Select DSC MENU
→ ALL SHIPS.
2.
Select one of the two call priorities:
•
SAFETY
Use to send safety information to all ships within range.
•
URGENCY
Use when a serious situation or problem arises that could lead to
a distress situation.
3.
On the “CHOOSE CH” screen, select INTER-SHIP. (Or, select MANUAL
to use a duplex channel—see point 2 of “General usage” on page
51.)
The display shows “SET INTER”
4.
Use
▲ or ▼ to reach the working channel you want to specify and
press [OK].
5.
When the SEND prompt appears,
•
Press [OK] to send the call request on CH70, or
•
Press [X] to exit without sending.

Call logs
The call logs store details of the DSC calls as follows:
Call type
Description
Last call
Details of the last incoming call
Call log
Details of the last 20 incoming calls
(does not include distress calls)
Distress log
Details of the last 20 distress calls received
Sent calls log
Details of the last 20 sent calls
You can use the call logs to call back a vessel that sent a call.
