3.6 Installing updates

NOTE
Switching on the instrument
The USB connection works only when the instrument is on.
The instrument is recognized by the computer (PC) as a removable
drive.
3 Copy the two files with the suffixes *.bin and *.mbin directly into
the root directory of the instrument (removable drive) using a file
manager (e.g. Windows Explorer).
4 Switch off the instrument after the copy process has been completed
and disconnect it from the USB cable.
5 Switch on the instrument again and wait for the installation process.
During start-up, the instrument recognizes the new update files and
installs these automatically.
