Managing common variables
6.2.1
General
Menu
▶ System ▶ Common variables
The instrument offers the possibility of saving five method-independent
variables, so-called common variables. These variables remain saved in
the instrument and can be used in future calculations. A common variable
is useful, e.g. for the following applications:
■
Determination of a blank value which will be taken into account during
the content determination of the sample.
The common variables have the non-changeable designation CV01…
CV05. The value is displayed for every variable. No unit can be assigned
to the common variables.
Edit
See the following chapter for editing the data of the selected common
variable.
Delete
Set the selected common variable to invalid.

Editing common variables
The common variables can be modified as follows:

Manually in this dialog.
■
Automatic assignment from the determination run. A calculation result
must be configured accordingly for this purpose (see below).
Assigning a result automatically to a common variable
Proceed as follows:
1 Opening the editing dialog of the result

Select the menu item Parameters
▶ Calculation and press
[OK].
