For connecting instruments with a remote interface (e.g. 885 Compact
Oven SC).
1.1.2 Intended use
The 899 Coulometer is designed for usage as a titrator in analytical labora-
tories. Its application field is coulometric water content determination
according to Karl Fischer.
This instrument is suitable for processing chemicals and flammable sam-
ples. The usage of the 899 Coulometer therefore requires that the user
have basic knowledge and experience in the handling of toxic and caustic
substances. Knowledge with respect to the application of the fire preven-
tion measures prescribed for laboratories is also mandatory.
