Max. Power
Under normal operating conditions, the Cal Cart’s maximum power is the MINIMUM of the max. power of the sen‐
sor and the max. power of the load. The following modifiers apply:
Above 65 MHz, derate the load’s max. power. See “High Frequency Derating” on page 26.
Due to the wide variety of available connectors, frequency range and maximum power may be reduced.
Insertion loss is specified with female N connectors. Choose connectors appropriate for the frequency and
power of operation.
Derate RF power by 2.5% for every 305m (1,000 ft.) above 1,520m (5,000 ft.)
