2.2 Installation Checklist

❒ 4 Install the module in the drive.
Verify that the drive and the network are
not powered. Then, connect the module
to the drive. Use the captive screws to
secure and ground the module to the
drive.

❒ 5 Connect the drive to the network. Chapter 4
❒ 6 Apply power to the drive and
network.
Verify that the module and network are
installed correctly and then apply power
to them. The module receives power
from the drive and network.

Use a network tool for LonWorks (such
as LonMaker) to install the drive as a
node in the network.
