5.0 DIAGNOSTICS AND

TROUBLESHOOTING

This sectiondescribes how to troubleshoot the PC Link module. See

Appendix C for a list of the error codes that can be displayed by the

PC Link module. If the problem cannot be corrected using the

procedures below, the unit is not userĆserviceable.

5.1

The Red LED is On and the Green LED is

Off

Problem: The red status LED onthe PC Link module is onand the

greenLED is off. Both LEDs should be onwhenpower to the

personal computer is turned on. Both LEDs should turn off after

either NET.BAT or RIO.BAT is run. An error code signifying the

problem should be displayed on the screen. See Appendix C for

error codes. If the red LED remains on after the problem indicated by

the error code has beencorrected, replace the module.
