To convert the router to AP mode:
1. On the Advanced Setting screen, click the Admin icon.
2. Click the Device Mode tab:

Mode
drop-down list, select AP (Access Point) mode. The LAN
Connection Type displays.
4. To configure LAN Connection Type, select Dynamic IP (DHCP) (default) or Static IP.
For Dynamic IP, continue to step 6.
5. If you select Static IP, complete the required entries:
6. Click Save. The screen informs you of how long the process will take. The router
reboots, and the login screen displays.
Note: The IP address of the access point is the static IP you assigned or the
DHCP IP address assigned by your router.
Setting
Description
LAN IP address
IP address of the device that is being configured as an access
point. The IP address should be on the same network as your
existing router.
Subnet Mask
The subnet mask is used to control how many subnetworks
can exist in your local network.
Default Gateway
IP address of the router to which this device is connected while
configured as an access point.
Primary/Secondary
DNS Server
Your ISP configures and maintains the primary and secondary
DNS Server addresses. You can find them on your main router
or by contacting your ISP.
