TIP: When using Crown Molding with Bullnose,
use Bull Adapters for smooth transitions between
the Crown and the rounded corner. Just clip a Bull
Adapter to desired length and install with 847
Spray Adhesive and ½" divergent Staples.
TIP:
Step 1 : Begin by measuring how far down from the ceiling you want to hang the Crown Molding. This line will be the guide line for installing
the mounting clip which the Crown Molding will clip on to. Next, snap your chalk lines for straight and accurate installation. After cutting the
mounting clip to desired lengths, install by stapling the mounting clip to the wall with a high quality Duo Fast staple gun, and ½" divergent
staples every 4 x 6" and add a screw or on every stud while using your snap lines as a guide.

Step 2 : Always wear safety glasses when using miter saws or spray adhesive. If
necessary, attach some plywood to the miter saw so the part is supported as shown. Break
your saw to the left for a right inside or left outside corner. Break your saw to the right for a
left inside or right outside corner. For additional support, place the foam spacer pieces near
the blade. Use a fine tooth cross cut blade. To ensure accuracy, make the miter cuts slowly.
Typically a 90º inside or outside corner will require setting the miter saw to 45º. Most
corners are rarely a true 90º so you may need to adjust the angle and make some practice
cuts first.

: Dry fit your pieces to ensure accurate
miters. Once you have your miter pieces ready,
you can install the Crown Molding by hanging
the Crown onto the Mounting Clip and applying
a
bead of high quality white paintable
adhesive caulk, such as Trim-Tex 710
Adhesive Caulk, along the back bottom grove
and in the Mounting Clip
