INSTALLATION
CONVERSION KIT# 434-972 FROM NG TO LP
For HZ33CE using SIT 886 NOVA Gas Valve
THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!
8. Remove regulator and discard. Install Hi/
Lo pressure regulator onto the valve with
2 screws as shown below.
9. Attach the label “This unit has been
converted to LPG” near or on top of the
serial # decal
10. Replace yellow “NG” label with red
“LPG”
label
11. Reverse steps 2 - 1.
12. Check for gas leaks.
13. Check inlet and outlet pressures.
14. Check operation of fl ame control.

Installation of the LPG
Conversion Kit:
1. Shut off the gas supply
2. a) Remove the glass door.
b) Remove the Glass Crystals or
Ceramic Stones. Also remove
Inner Panels - if installed.
c) Remove the six (6) screws in locations
shown below to remove burner tray.
5. Unscrew the pilot orifi ce with the Allen
key and replace with the LPG pilot
orifi ce in the kit and replace pilot cap.
6. Remove burner orifi ce with a 1/2"
wrench and discard. Use another
wrench to hold on to the elbow below
the orifi ce.

7. Install the new burner orifi ce stamped
#56.
4. Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot
orifi ce.

3. Remove 2 screws in location shown in
below - slide burner to the right then lift
out. (See Diagram 2)
