3.2 Mounting in cold plate technique
The capacitor modules of type ECSCKxxx are intended for mounting in cold−plate
technique (e.g. on collective coolers).
Requirements for collective coolers
The following requirements must be met to ensure a safe operation of the capaci-
tor modules:
ƒ The contact surface between collective cooler and capacitor module must be
at least as large as the cooling plate of the capacitor module.
ƒ Level contact surface, max. deviation 0.05 mm.
ƒ Connect the collective cooler with all specified screwed connections with the
capacitor module.
ƒ Ambient conditions:
– In addition, the rated data for the ambient temperature apply to the
capacitor module.
– Temperature of the cooling plate ("Cold Plate") max. +85 °C
