5 Installation
5.1 Information about fastening, securing and arrangement
TIP!
When fastening or securing a probe to prevent dropping, ensure that the plastic housing is not
wrapped with metallic objects (e.g. chains or circlips). Non-observance will lead to impaired
probe range.
TIP!
For optimum probe function ensure a minimum spacing of 200 mm between the probes.
TIP!
To prevent damage to the sheath, do not subject the probe to undue force when pushing into
solid media.
