INTERCEPTOR AIR TERMINAL
2. FOR FRP MAST WITH STANDARD TYPE
DOWNCONDUCTOR
You will need to have the following ERICO
®
items:
•
INTMKIV-SS Air Terminal
•
INTCPT-ADBUTT – Connects terminal to
mast
•
TERMLUGCOUP – Connects downconductor
lug to terminal
METHOD:
a) Slide the Mast Butt Adaptor (INTCPT-
ADBUTT) over the bottom of the ERITECH
®
INTERCEPTOR finial.
b) Screw the ERITECH INTERCEPTOR onto
the TERMLUGCOUP.
c) Secure in place with the lock screw provided
with INTCPT-ADBUTT. (It is recommended
that some thread locking adhesive be applied
to the screw before insertion).
d) Feed the downconductor through the FRP
mast.
e) Terminate the downconductor onto
TERMLUGCOUP using the M10 bolt
provided.
f) Insert the mast butt adaptor into the top of the
mast and raise into position.
3. FOR MAST WITH ¾” UNC FEMALE THREAD
You will need to have the following ERICO items:
• INTMKIV-SS Air Terminal
• INTCPT-ADM3/4UNC
4. FOR MAST WITH 2” NPS MALE THREAD
You will need to have the following ERICO items:
• INTMKIV-SS Air Terminal
• INTCPT-ADF2NPS
5. FOR MAST WITH 2” BSP MALE THREAD
You will need to have the following ERICO items:
• INTMKIV-SS Air Terminal
• INTCPT-ADF2BSPF
METHOD FOR 3, 4, AND 5:
a) Screw the threaded adaptor into the bottom end
of the ERITECH INTERCEPTOR finial.
b) Secure using the M6 grub screw provided with
the adapter. (It is recommended that some
thread locking adhesive be applied to the screw
before insertion).
c) Screw the ERITECH INTERCEPTOR and
adaptor assembly onto the top of the mast.
Secure lock nut where provided (INTCPT-
ADM3/4UNC).
