Operating Guide
Bending (Bending Tool No. 559150): Make
bends quickly and easily with no risk of
damaging the insulation. Clean neat bends that
can be reproduced time after time.

Loosen pressure plate and slide
back away from work piece. Insert
FLEXIBAR to be bent.

Adjust to desired length.

Move pressure plate into contact
with workpiece.

Tighten pressure plate in position.
C5
Tighten jaws on bending clamp.

Pull up on swivel-release knob.
C7
Using socket wrench as a handle, begin bending operation.

Stop at desired angle.
Twisting-Changing Plane (Twisting Tool No.
559160): Easy operation with this exclusive
ERICO procedure that allows all the laminates to
move within the insulated sleeve. After forming,
the ends should be trimmed with the cutter.

Open Twisting tool as shown in
D8 and gently tighten onto
workpiece.

Adjust to length desired.

Begin twisting.

Stop at desired angle.

Twist to desired angle.

Begin twisting again.

Stop at desired angle.

Release twisting tool.

Remove workpiece.

Remove insulation as required.

Chamfer edge.
