15 To protect your product against power surges, we recommend the use of a power protection
device (Surge Protector).
16 To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to people, note the following:
Do not use this product near appliances that use water, a swimming pool, or in a wet
basement.
Do not use the machine during an electrical storm (there is the remote possibility of an
electrical shock) or to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.
IMPORTANT - For your safety

To ensure safe operation, the supplied three-pin plug must be inserted only into a standard three-
pin electrical socket that is effectively grounded through the normal household wiring.
The fact that the equipment operates satisfactorily does not imply that the power is grounded and
that the installation is completely safe. For your safety, if in any doubt about the effective
grounding of the power, consult a qualified electrician.
