Bracket Installation
1. On faceplate side of balancer, remove two screws
that fasten balancer weight tray to chassis. Reserve the
hardware.
2. Now position laser bracket as shown. Fasten to the
chassis using reserved hardware.
Operating Instructions
1. For corrective weight placement at top-dead-
center, mount line laser either inboard on laser bracket
magnet or outboard on motor shaft end.
2. Press button on line laser to activate the line laser
beam.
3. Use the line laser beam as a guide to center and
attach the corrective weight amount at top-dead-center.
Important: Remember to turn the line laser off to
conserve its battery life.
CAUTION: Be sure to remove the unit, if mounted
on balancer motor shaft end, before the next measure-
ment cycle (spin).
4. Press button on line laser to turn laser beam off.
Maintenance Instructions
The line laser assembly requires only minor mainte-
nance to keep the unit operating properly.
• Keep the unit clean and clear. Use a damp cloth.
Do not use cleaners or solvents that leave oily or
filmy residues behind.
• To replace the line laser batteries, remove cover.
Discard old batteries, install two new AAA batteries
and replace the cover.
