After handling rinse exposed skin with water before washing gently with soap (not
detergent). Wash work clothing separately.
Before commencing any major repairs we recommend reference to the European Association
representing the High Temperature Insulation Wool industry (www.ecfia.eu)
We can provide further information on request. Alternatively our service division can quote for
any repairs to be carried out at your premises or ours.

Viton ‘O’ ring Seals - Warning.
The ‘O’ ring seals used in the CAF Digital furnace work tube assembly are
manufactured from Viton. Viton is combustible and decomposition occurs
at elevated temperatures. Decomposition products include Hydrogen
Fluoride, fluorinated hydrocarbons, Carbon Monoxide and Carbonyl
Fluoride. Hydrogen Fluoride is highly corrosive.
Although these seals should not be exposed to elevated temperatures
during normal use, the following precautions should be taken:
Wear neoprene gloves while handling the seals.
Dispose according to local regulations. Landfill is recommend. Burning is not recommended
except by an approved or licensed incineration agent.

‘oxidising’ and ‘reducing’ atmosphere and the control of those gases.
