2.2 Delivery package
Check the delivery for completeness.
Check all parts for damage in transit.
2.3 Features
The PiezoXpert is used in micromanipulation. Penetration into cells is supported by piezo
impulses which are directly transmitted to the capillaries loss-free. Intuitive operation and an
additional adjustment range enable reproducible work.
•
Optimal transmission of piezo impulses: The piezo element is located at the front of the
capillary holder.
•
Loss-free transmission of piezo impulses: The actuator (capillary holder with piezo element)
is rigidly mounted to the micromanipulator.
•
Reproducible work: Intensity, speed (frequency) and quantity of piezo impulses can be
simultaneously set in two application-specific sets of parameters. Three memory locations
are available for storing the settings.
•
Cleaning function: Parameters for removing contaminations from the capillary can be set and
stored.
•
Simple operation: The device can be operated intuitively. piezo impulses can be triggered on
the device or by using the foot control.
