Activating the Clean function
Hold the clean key pressed down.
Piezo impulses will be transmitted to the capillary as long as the clean key is pressed. The
display shows the parameters set for Clean.
If the clean key is released, the display shows the most recently used parameter sets, A and B,
after approx. 5 seconds.
5.6 Setting the display contrast
1. Press the int and speed keys simultaneously.
The display shows the LCD-Contrast menu.
3. Press the pulse key to exit the menu.

6 Troubleshooting
6.1 General errors
Control functions in the device ensure that the PiezoXpert can continue to be used even if an
error code appears in the display. Errors are saved in a list that can be accessed.
6.1.1
Accessing error codes
This function can be used to display the error codes of the last 10 errors.
1. Press the int and speed keys simultaneously.
The display shows the LCD-Contrast menu.
2. Rotate the B rotary knob to set the contrast
of the display.
Highest contrast: 0
Lowest contrast: 100
Symptom/message
Remedy
An error code appears in the display.
Error messages can be acknowledged
using any key.
An error code reappears.
Switch the device off and back on again.
2. Rotate the A rotary knob to display the
stored error codes.
The display shows the error codes of the
last 10 errors under LAST ERRORS.
