5.5 Clean function
Contamination on the outside of the capillaries, for example, can be removed using the Clean
function.
5.5.1
Accessing the Clean function
To exit the Clean function, briefly press the prog 1, prog 2 or prog 3 program keys.
5.5.2
Setting the parameters for the Clean function
1. Press the clean key or the prog clean program key.
3. Rotate the B rotary knob to change the parameter.
For Int., select a value between 1 and 86.
For Speed, select a value between 1 and 40.
The set parameters are activated immediately.
5.5.3
Saving the parameters for the Clean function
1. Set the parameters Int. and Speed for Clean.
2. Press the prog clean program key longer than 1 second.
The control LED above prog clean lights up. The parameters are saved.
5.5.4
Accessing parameters saved for the Clean function
Briefly press the prog clean program key to access the saved parameters.
The saved parameters will be shown in the display.
To access the Clean function, press the
prog clean program key.

The display shows the parameters set for
Clean.

The following parameters are factory preset
for Clean:
Int.: 20
Speed: 20
Hint!
You can also exit the Clean function by pressing the A or B rotary knob or the foot
control. The display shows the most recently used set of A and B parameters. Piezo
impulses are transmitted to the capillary.
2. Press the int or speed parameter key.
The control LED above the parameter key
lights up.The cursor marks Int. or Speed in
the display.
Hint!
If you select settings for Clean that are already saved, the LED above the prog clean
program key lights up.
