7 Maintenance
7.1 Replacing fuses
The fuse holder is located between the power connection socket and the power switch. The fuses
may only be replaced with the same type of fuses.
Hint!
If the recommended troubleshooting measures are not successful after several
attempts, please contact your local Eppendorf partner. The addresses can be found on
the website: www.eppendorf.com. The addresses of Eppendorf subsidiaries can be
found on the second to last page of this operating manual.

power switch was not switched
on.
Check the power connection
and power cable.
Switch on the device.
The display shows:

The actuator is not connected.
Error messages can be
acknowledged using any key.
Connect the actuator.
Check the actuator connection
to the PiezoXpert.
•
The actuator is defective.
Error messages can be
acknowledged using any key.
Replace the actuator.
Have the defective actuator
inspected by Eppendorf.
An error message
appears in the
display.
•
A control function has detected
an error.
Error messages can be
acknowledged using any key.
Switch the device off and back
on again.
Contact Technical Service if
error messages continue to
appear.
