Symptom

Possible Cause

Drive fault light flashes 2

times.

Improper start.

From the upper controls:

Ensure the joystick is in the neutral

position and push the emergency stop

button inward.

From the lower controls:

Push the emergency stop button in-

ward and place the start switch to the

off position.

Pull the emergency stop button out-

ward and place the start switch in the

on position.

From the upper controls:

Pull the emergency stop button out-

ward and then step on the platform

foot switch.

Drive fault light flashes 6

times.

Emergency stop in the off position at

upper controls.

From the lower controls:

Push the emergency stop button in-

ward and place the start switch to the

off position.

Pull the emergency stop button out-

ward and place the start switch in the

on position.

From the upper controls:

Pull the emergency stop button out-

ward and then step on the platform

foot switch.

Drive fault light flashes 7

times.

Low battery voltage.

Recharge the batteries.

Drive fault light flashes 8

times.

High drive control system tempera-

ture.

Turn the machine off and let it cool before

resuming operation.

Can not reach maximum drive

speed of 3.2 mph (5.1 km/h).

Booms are not retracted and low-

ered.

Fully retract and lower the boom.

Drive range switch in low (turtle).

Place the switch in the high (rabbit)

position.

Wheels will not turn when

winching.

Drive hubs are engaged.

Turn drive wheel disconnect plates around

so nipples point inward.

Tilt alarm does not work.

Booms are stowed.

Normal operation. The tilt alarm is op-

erational when the booms are out of the

stowed position.

Circuit breaker will not reset.

Electrical circuit has not had time to

cool.

Wait a minute or two for circuit to cool,

then push circuit breaker button in to

reset.

Electrical system malfunction.

Stow the machine and do not operate until

repairs are made.
