B. Wheel Lug Nut Torque Check
(First 50 Hours)
1. Wire brush the area around the lug nuts if necessary. There are
separate lockwashers (1) under the lug nuts (2). Be sure the lock-
washers are installed under each lug nut.
2. Using the torque sequence (A thru H) from the chart below, alter-
nately check the torque of each of the eight lug nuts. The recom-
mended torque should be 430-470 lb-ft (583-637 Nm).
C. Replacing Tires
IMPORTANT! The standard tire size and ply rating for this vehicle is:
13.00 - 24 12 ply. Make sure any replacement tire including optional tires,
are of the same size and ply or star rating. DO NOT use lower PLY or star
rated tires on this vehicle.
WARNING:
Mis-matched tire sizes and PLY ratings may
compromise vehicle stability and may result in vehicle tipover.
