Introduction
This manual provides information for remote operation of the SERIES 7000 Signal Source Analyzers /
Phase Noise Measurement Systems using commands sent from an external controller via remote
control. It includes the following:

A general description of the LAN and the bus data transfer and control functions
•
A general description of how to establish connection to the SERIES 7000 via LAN or USB.
•
A listing of the IEEE-488 Interface Function Messages recognized by the instrument with a
description of its response
•
A complete listing and description of all the Standard Commands for Programmable
Instruments (SCPI) commands that can be used to control instrument operation with
examples of command usage
