The drip tray has a red level indicator that shows how much water it
contains. Empty and clean the drip tray when the indicator becomes
visible.
Make sure that the holes in the coffee spout are not blocked.
If they are blocked, unblock them by scraping dried coffee residues away
with a needle.
5 Clean the spout regularly with a damp cloth.

The brewing unit must be cleaned regularly to avoid the build-up of caked
coffee residues, which could cause the appliance to malfunction.
1 Switch off the appliance but leave the plug in the wall socket. Wait
until the display goes out.
Open the service door.
Remove the drip tray and the waste bin and clean them.
