ERROR MESSAGE CAUSE REMEDY
CANCELED DATA!
PRESS ANY KEY
•
This message appears if the
CANCEL key is pressed while
data is being transmitted from
the computer to this unit in Inter-
face mode.
•
Press any key other then the
CODE, SHIFT, ALT or CAPS
keys, then try again.
CAN’T DELETE
TAPE EDGE!
•
This message appears if the
end of the tape cannot be
detected during multi-color
printing.
•
Pull out some excess tape
and hold the end of the tape
while turning the tape roll to
tighten the tape in the cass-
ette.
•
Align the end of the tape with
the edge of the cassette,
then try using the multi-color
printing function again.
Press the CODE and
6 keys
to skip colors and return to
the point where printing
stopped.
CAN’T HERE •
This message appears if a
character, symbol, return or
new block is entered while
the cursor is located in a bar
code field.
•
This message appears if the
cursor is located in a bar code
field and a text format (font, size
width, style, underlining and
framing, or color) key is pressed.
•
This message appears if a
text file is recalled and joined
to the current massage while
the cursor is located in a bar
code field.
•
Move the cursor or delete
the bar code field before
entering the character, sym-
bol, return or new block.
•
Move the cursor or delete
the bar code field before
pressing the text format key.
•
Move the cursor or delete
the field before recalling the
text files.
CHANGE ADAPTOR
•
This message appears if a
high-voltage adaptor is being
used.
•
Remove the high-voltage
adaptor and install the
optional 7.0V 1.2A AC
adaptor.
CLOSE
THE COVER! •
This message appears in
any mode when the tape
compartment cover is open.
•
Close the compartment
cover.
