Chapter 6: Advanced Graphing Features — Advanced Keyboard
2 Line(
Draws a line according to the given X-Y coordinates of
a start/end point.
Note:
This tool can be used with any type of graph.
Line(x-coordinate of start point, y-coordinate of
start point, x-coordinate of end point, y-coordinate
of end point [,0])
Example
1. Select the DRAW
menu. Select A
DRAW in the
menu, then select
2 Line(.
“Line(” will appear.
Suppose you wish to draw a line, starting from an
X-Y coordinate (1,2) to end at (8,8).
2. Enter “1,2,8,8”
right after the
“Line(” object,
then close the
expression with
).
3. Press
E.
The GRAPH window will appear with the specified
line drawn on the graph.
Note:
If you enter 0 for the 5th element of Line( function, (e.g.
Line(1,2,8,8,0)) and press
E, you can clear the
specified line.
