General Precautions
HDD Drive Capacity
1 Gigabyte (GB) means 1000 Ч 1000 Ч 1000 = 1,000,000,000 bytes
using powers of 10. The computer operating system, however,
reports storage capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of
1 GB = 1024 Ч 1024 Ч 1024 = 1,073,741,824 bytes, and therefore may
show less storage capacity. Available storage capacity will also be less if
the product includes one or more pre-installed operating systems, such
as Microsoft Windows and/or pre-installed software applications, or
media content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
Non-applicable Icons
Certain notebook chassis are designed to accommodate all possible
configurations for an entire product series. Your selected model may not
have all the features and specifications corresponding to all of the icons or
switches shown on the notebook chassis, unless you have selected all
those features.
Wireless LAN/Intel
The transmission speed over the wireless LAN and the distance over
which wireless LAN can reach may vary depending on surrounding
electromagnetic environment, obstacles, access point design and
configuration, and client design and software/hardware configurations.
[xxMbps is the theoretical maximum speed under the IEEE802.11 (a/b/g)
standard.] The actual transmission speed will be lower than the theoretical
maximum speed.
TV Tuner
TV Tuner will function only in the country where the computer was
purchased.

Qosmio TM Player
The Qosmio TM Player is not a Windows based application. Battery life will
be less than when using similar applications in a Windows operating
system.
LCD Brightness and Eye Stain
Your LCD display has a brightness approaching that of a TV device. We
recommend that you adjust the brightness of your LCD to a comfortable
level to prevent possible strain on your eyes.
