Program and data protection
¤ To prepare for recovery from damage to or loss of programs and data, back up important
programs and data regularly.
¤ To store data, observe the following:
· Do not turn off the power during system operation.
· When initializing a storage media such as a floppy disk or magnetic tape, be sure to check
in advance that no important program or data is stored on it.
· While a storage device such as the floppy disk drive or magnetic tape unit is accessing a
storage medium, do not remove the medium.
