1.1.2 Outline of Individual Functions
This section provides an outline of individual functions of HEW.
Fault list display function
This is the function to display fault information of the Agent machine. The information is
stored on the Management Proxy.
Inventory collection function
This is the function to display the inventory of the Agent machine. The following
information is displayed.
RAID controller information (IDE RAID, SCSI RAID)
Product information (RAID, system BIOS, processor, SCSI, Applications, etc.)
* Some types of information may not be collected depending on the platform.

Sensor status display function
This is the function to display status information on hardware components including the
power supply or fans and so on.
Following machines support displaying the status out-of-band:
MAGNIA Z300/Z310/Z500, MAGNIA3300 (BIOS version 2.0 or more)/3310
S.E.L. (System Event Log) function
This is the function to monitor the S.E.L. of the Agent machine. The S.E.L. is a log held on
the motherboard. And the fault information on hardware is mainly recorded on the
S.E.L.
This function is supported for following machines: MAGNIA Z300/Z310/Z500,
MAGNIA3200/3300/3310

Automatic server restart function
This is the function to automatically reboot the server if the Agent machine is locked. If no
response is received from the system for a specified duration, this function
automatically reboots the Agent machine.
This function is supported for following machines:
MAGNIA Z300/Z310/Z500, MAGNIA3200/3300/3310, MAGNIA560S
Remote power control function
Turns on or off the power to the Agent machine from the Management Console.
This function is supported for following machines:
MAGNIA Z300/Z310/Z500, MAGNIA3300 (BIOS version 2.0 or more) /3310
