Direct dialling
1 Display the “Phone Menu” screen.
= For details, refer to Displaying the phone
menu on page 70.
2 Tap .
3 Tap the number keys to enter the
phone number.
The phone number that was input is dis-
played.
p To cancel the input numbers one by one,
tap [ C].
4 Tap to make a call.
p To cancel the call after the system starts
dialling, tap .
5 Tap to end the call.
Calling a number in the phone
book
You can select and call a contact from the
phone book entries transferred to the naviga-
tion system.
p Before using this function, you need to
transfer the phone book entries stored in
your mobile phone to the navigation sys-
tem.

book on page 72.
1 Display the “Phone Menu” screen.

2 Tap .
The
“Mobile Phone Book” screen appears.
3 Tap the desired name on the list.
p You can search for a contact to call by al-
phabet by tapping .
p You can invert the last name and first name
by tapping .
The details screen of phone book appears.
4 Tap the desired entry on the list.
Dialling starts.
p To cancel the call after the system starts
dialling, tap .
5 Tap to end the call.
Selecting a number using alphabet
search
If a lot of numbers are registered in phone
book, you can search for a phone number
using alphabet search mode.
1 Display the
“Phone Menu” screen.

menu on page 70.
2 Tap .
The
“Mobile Phone Book” screen appears.
3 Tap to display the alphabet search
screen.
4 Tap the first letter of the entry you are
looking for.
The screen jumps to the top of the page dis-
playing the entries that start with selected let-
ter.
5 Tap the desired name on the list.
The details screen of phone book appears.
