Inserting the card
1 Make sure that the camera power
switch is in the off position.
2 Open the Card cover.
3 When using the SmartMedia card:
Insert the card in the direction
shown in the illustration.
When using the CompactFlash
card:
Insert the
end of the card and
push in the card. When the tab
pops out, place it on its side.

Note the orientation of the card. If it
is inserted incorrectly, it may
become jammed.
4 Close the cover tightly.

Insert the card fully until you feel it lock
into place.
