You can adjust exposure manually by ±2 (in increments of approx. 1/3). If you
want a white object to appear as white as possible, adjust + to increase the
exposure. If you want a black object to appear as black as possible, adjust –
to decrease the exposure.

Unless OFF is selected in All Reset, the setting will be canceled when the
power is turned off (p. 148).
●
If the subject is mostly dark, the exposure compensation does not function
effectively. In such a case, display the recorded picture and check the
brightness.
●
You cannot correct the amount of flash in this mode. To adjust brightness,
refer to page 109.
