To eliminate the difference in halftone density between the front and back sides printed by Main Body 1 and
Main Body 2, print a chart sheet in halftone density from each main body to check the difference and manu-
ally adjust the density.
Patterns of the charts
Pattern 1:
Prints 2 chart sheets in total, one from each main body, using the halftone density value manually set.
Pattern 2:
Prints 10 chart sheets in total, 5 from each main body using the halftone density value set to -3, -1, 0, +2, and
+4, regardless of the manually set value.
Objects of adjustment: Main Body 1 (Side 2), Main Body 2 (Side 1)
Adjustable range: - 3 to + 4

Make this adjustment after completing [07 Both Sides Density Adjustment] - [01 Both Sides Max. Dens. Man-
ual].

Press [Adjustment] on the Machine Screen to display the Adjustment Menu Screen.

Press [07 Both Sides Density Adjustment] and [02 Both Sides Halftone Manual] in sequence.
The Both Sides Halftone Density Manual Adj. Screen will be displayed.

Press [Print Mode].
A dialog box will be displayed to select a pattern of chart to be printed.

Select [Pattern 1] or [Pattern 2].
