Status indicator light
Indicates the status of the machine in 4 different
colors.
Red: Lights when the machine stops due to a rea-
son such as paper jam, empty tray, and empty ton-
er.
Orange: Lights when the toner supply message is
displayed.
Green: Lights when printing is in progress.
Blue: Lights when the machine is ready to print. No
lighting: The main power switch or sub power
switch is turned off, or the machine is not ready to
print due to a warm-up in progress, open door, or
other causes.

Sub power switch
Turns machine power on/off when pressed.

Touch panel
Displays screens such as the Machine Screen to al-
low various settings and machine operations. Also,
operation or troubleshooting procedures can be
provided.

Used for various settings and machine operations.

Right side door
Opens rightward for removal of mishandled paper.
When Paper Feeder Unit PF-703/PF-706 is in-
stalled, open the tray left side door first for removal
operation.

Tray 1
Holds 1,500 sheets (22 lb Bond or 80 g/m

) of
standard, custom, wide paper, or tab paper sizes.
Load paper of the weight from 11 lb Bond to 80 lb
Bond (40 g/m

to 300 g/m
2
). For Embossed 2 paper
type, load paper of the weight from 21 to 57 lb Bond
(75 g/m

to 216 g/m
2
). Any paper type that can be
specified on this machine, excluding preprinted pa-
per, can be loaded.

Main body front door
Opens to allow removal of mishandled paper.

Opens to allow toner supply or replacement of
waste toner box.

Opens together with the front door to allow remov-
al of mishandled paper or to turn off/on the main
power switch.

Port (type A) (USB 2.0/1.1 compati-
ble)
Used to connect devices such as a backup HDD,
keyboard, and mouse.
This port is available for low-power devices only.
Please provide an external supply of power for de-
vices that require a large amount of power.

Network port (for connecting Main
Body 1 and Main Body 2)
Connects Main Body 1 and Main Body 2 with a net-
work cable.

age controller)
Connects the machine and a network device with a
network cable.
