2.5.3 Turning Off Main Power Switch Automatically
The main power switch can be turned off automatically on this machine. The following two settings are pro-
vided.
These settings are provided on the Utility menu and to be performed by the administrator. Ask your admin-
istrator for the time when the main power switch is turned off.
You can turn on the main power switch as in a usual operation, even after the machine has been powered
off automatically.

Setting options Description
Main Power Auto OFF Setting Turns OFF the main power switch automatically after the sub power
switch is turned OFF and the main body is completely cooled down.
ErP Setting Turns the main power switch OFF automatically when the machine re-
mains in the following conditions for a certain period of time with the
main power switch kept ON:
•
The sub power switch is OFF.
• Auto Shut OFF is activated.
• Auto Low Power is activated.
One of the following options is selected for the time to turn off the main
power switch: Do Not Switch, 12 Hours, 24 Hours, 36 Hours, 48 Hours,
60 Hours, 72 Hours.
