Note: Your server supports up to 8 LV RDIMMs when one microprocessor is installed and up to 16 LV RDIMMs
when two microprocessors are installed. If you are using LV RDIMMs, do not install them into any of the memory
slot with a * mark in this table.

The following table explains the memory module installation rules for servers that have only one
microprocessor (CPU1) installed. The “X” mark indicates the memory slots into which the memory modules
should be installed in different situations.
