Camera Ready Light
The ready light glows steady green when the camera is on and
ready to take a picture.
Problem Cause Solution
The Ready light does
not turn on and the
camera does not
work. The camera is not
turned on. Turn on the camera
(
page 4 ).
The battery is
exhausted. Recharge the battery
(
page 3 ).
The Ready light blinks
red. The battery is low. Recharge the battery
(
page 3 ).
The Ready light glows
steady red. The camera’s
internal memory or
card is full. Transfer pictures to your
computer (
page 43 ), delete
pictures from the camera
(
page 26 ), switch storage
locations ( page 9 ), or insert
a card with available
memory.
The Ready light blinks
green. A picture is being
processed and saved
to the camera. Wait. Resume picture taking
when the light stops blinking.
The Ready light blinks
yellow. The flash is not
charged. Wait. Resume picture taking
when the light stops blinking
and turns green.
Auto Exposure is not
locked. Release the Shutter button
and recompose the picture.
