Taking Pictures
Use the Still setting to take pictures or to customize picture-taking settings.
Before you take a picture, make sure your picture storage location is set the
way you want it (
see page 9 ).
Taking a Picture
1 Turn the Mode dial to Still .
2 Use the LCD to frame your subject. (If you
need to conserve battery power, press the
Select button to turn off the LCD. Then use
the Viewfinder to frame your subject.)
3 Press the Shutter button half-way to set the
exposure, then completely down to take the
picture.
The ready light blinks green while the
picture is saved.
The ready light blinks yellow while the
flash is recharging.
CAUTION:
Do not insert or remove a card when the green ready light
is blinking. Doing so may damage your pictures, card, or
camera.
