Using the Digital Zoom
The Digital Zoom provides up to 3X magnification of your pictures. You may
notice a decrease in printed image quality when using Digital Zoom.
1 Turn the Mode dial to Still . Use the LCD
to frame your subject.
2 Move the joystick to begin zooming.
Keep the button pressed for continuous
magnification, or release it at any point.
The LCD displays the zoomed image and
the magnification level.
3 Press the shutter button.
4 Move the joystick to zoom out and to
turn off Digital Zoom.
NOTE: Digital Zoom is automatically turned off when the Mode dial is changed,
the camera is turned off, or when the camera enters Sleep mode.
