A picture is not
clear.

The lens is dirty.

Clean the lens (

The subject was too
close when taking
picture.

Move so there is at least 2.6
feet (0.8 m) between the
camera and the subject.

The subject or the
camera moved while the
picture was taken.

Hold the camera steady
while taking the picture.

The subject was too far
away for the flash to be
effective.

Move so there is no more
than 8.2 feet (2.5 m)
between the camera and the
subject.

Flash mode is set to Off
or Night Shot.

When using these modes,
use tripod (or change to
Auto flash mode).

A slide show does
not run on external
