4 Close the battery-chamber door in the direction of the arrow
1 and slide it until it clicks 2 .
• After replacing the batteries, check that the built-in clock (date and time) works correctly (See page
121).
If the camera has no power source for approximately five minutes, the built-in clock may delay or
reset to the default setting. In this case, set the date and time again by following the procedure
described on page 121.
• To avoid damaging the battery compartment door, make sure it is completely shut before setting
the camera down.
• Batteries become hot during camera operation. Handle batteries with caution.
