Adding a User to Your Contacts
For many Google Talk features, such as starting a chat, your friends must be
added in your Google Talk Contacts.

On the Contacts screen, press OPTION.
The Context menu appears.

Press / to select “Add Friend,” and then press the center
button.
The Gmail account entry screen appears.

Use the keyboard to enter the user’s Gmail account.
The confirmation dialog appears.

Press / to select “Finish,” and then press the center button.
An invitation is sent to the selected user, and the user’s name is listed on
the contacts list. If the user accepts your invitation, the contact’s status
icon appears ( page 84).
